Dr. Cummings was born and raised in Baton Rouge. He received his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana Tech University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2008. Dr. Cummings is the first dentist in his family. He is married and has twins. He enjoys, travelling, swimming, and spending time with friends. He also rides in the Mardi Gras Krewe of Endymion parade.
Dr. Iennusa is a 1999 graduate of the LSUHSC School of Dentistry. He completed a 2 year hospital residency at LSU-Charity Hospital in 2001, where he was operating room chief resident, and worked as part of a medical team that provided care to cancer patients, organ transplant patients and medically compromised patients. Upon completion of the hospital residency, he entered private practice in Mandeville as a general dentist, and in 2005 also began working for ORMCO, a global leader in orthodontic product manufacturing, as a consultant. In 2011, Dr. Iennusa returned to the LSUHSC School of Dentistry to complete a 2-year residency in the specialty of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He is currently the Vice President of the LA Association of Orthodontists and the Vice President of the LSU Orthodontic Alumni Association. He resides in Mandeville with his wife and 3 children.
Dr. Lacoste was born and raised in the New Orleans area. After graduating high school from The New Orleans Academy in 1972, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans. He then went on to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1980.Dr. Lacoste is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the New Orleans Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He always finds time to be with family and friends, and enjoys fishing and playing music.
Dr. Matherne was born in Lockport, Louisiana, in the heart of Lafourche Parish. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of New Orleans in 1995 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 1998. He also performed a General Practice Residency in the United States Navy in 1999 and went on to receive his certificate in Endodontics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2007. Dr. Matherne served 10 years active duty as a Navy Dental Officer, with deployments to Spain and Guam. He is a big fan of LSU and Saints football.
Dr. Nass was born and raised in New Orleans and attended Isidore Newman High School. He received his undergraduate degree at Colorado College and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at LSU School of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the New Orleans Dental Association. Dr. Nass has been ranked as one of “America’s Top Dentists” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America. He also has an interest in historic renovations.
Dr. Thao Nguyen was born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Dr. Nguyen is currently pursuing specialty training in Periodontics at LSU School of Dentistry. In her spare time, she enjoys movies, concerts, and watching sports – especially soccer.
Dr. Snitzer has been practicing periodontics for over 25 years. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Washington University in 1983, and his certificate in Periodontics from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1985. He enjoys playing tennis and golf.
Dr. Ust was born in New Orleans and raised in Metairie. She graduated from Mount Carmel Academy, then earned a Bachelor of Biological Sciences at LSU and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry. She is a vegetarian, and loves to home-decorate, make crafts, and attend local festivals. Dr. Ust is also proud mom to a daughter.
Dr. Emily Tan was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and raised in Lakeland, Florida, where she attended Lakeland Christian School. She earned a Bachelor of Science at the University of Florida and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Tan loves spending time with her husband and family, going on long distance runs, working out, going to the movies and traveling.
Dr. Wu was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Wichita, Kansas. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at the University of Kansas and his dental degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Wichita State University. Dr. Wu has an identical twin brother and enjoys golf, college basketball and football, reading, flying, and playing with his dogs. He is also strongly committed to continuing education in dentistry.
